Description
This is the same owl as in the previous upload. It will soon enough be out of the flight enclosure and set free. Broken wing healed and the bird is eager to go.
I decided to do this as a portrait since that was how the photo was shot. The bg is softened a little.
HAPPY PS: This was posted on Sunday,July 13. During the evening of Wednesday, July 16, this barn owl was released on a large farm of very suitable habitat. It took right away to a large unused barn on the property. The land owners were very pleased and I am sure so is the owl.
