Wow, I've seen a lot of these, but they never sit still to get a good look at, much less a photo -- you got a great one!
I've never such an intense shade of red on a dragonfly. Super photo.
A "Red Dragon" hein ! Excellent capture ! I rarely get the chance to see one never the least photograph one ! Well done my friend !
WOW!! you have captured the detail magnificently. Its amazing how they survive because they look so fragile and look like they could tear at any moment!! Beautiful photo :)
I can see an elf riding that! (Not a shy elf either..) Ive recently done a giant moth pic so maybe I can move on to dragonflies etc. Great picture. Dave
Excellently composed as well as a vibrant red.

I have seen a few of those here in Cal too. But never get a chance to shoot em. I love the color on these. So vibrant. Nice work.
Only ok?? This is a fantastic shot! Cheers!!! :D
What a vivid red! Awesome colors & you've captured it perfectly...
Great shot of a very vivid Dragonfly. We do not have any solid red colored species where I live. There is nothing subtle about this one, lol. I would love to see for for real. Thanks for sharing. Lee
