Description
The very fact that someone is riding through the Flame Forest during daylight is enough to suggest a death wish. To do so at night reveals a desperation so great it is willing to risk everything on the very faint hope of surviving the journey.
In the dark, one can stumble into the rounce brambles and be impaled upon its huge thorns. The tentacles of the half animal, half plant psychtentacles lash out of the dark to pluck you from your mechanical mount. If you are lucky, it will strangle you before it begins to digest you; if not---.
Then there are the hunters. The most feared of these is the Charranx, which "sees" the heat given off plants, animals, and the ground. Worse, they tend to hunt in groups of two or three. If they sense your presence, your only chance will be to find a rocky outcrop that you can climb. Bird-like, the Charranx cannot pursue you there. However, you are only putting off the inevitable; they will wait until thirst and hunger force you to abandon your sanctuary.
We don't know what has driven this woman to ride the Flame Forest at night, but if she is here, we know that for her to remain where she had been left her with no choice if she was to live. She has about a two percent chance of surviving the forest and its denizens.

Great scene! Hope she makes it!
With a 2% chance of survival, not likely!
The chances of surviving a ride through the Flame Forest at night are approximately 50:1! The ground itself looks a little plain by moonlight. I'm assuming there's a second moon, or else, I guess we're seeing the rider through the eyes of a Charranx.
I can see why geirla would think that, but there are only two lights and they are both very close together and lined up with the moon in the render so as to cast their light from the direction of the moon. It is a moon that is somewhat smaller than our moon, but is much closer to the planet, so it looks much larger than ours in the sky.
Looks like a really nasty place to be.. Glad it's not me..
I see a story there...
Awesome depth to this!
I agree with Eldeago depth is perfect!
Wonderful one! Love the light and colors here!
This looks like a rather desalute place. Hard to see by the light of the moon.
