Description
This image has one extra piece of postwork in PaintshopPro Photo XI. With all three cars visible the materials render like in draft. I tried only one visible and making shadows and visible in raytrace. I found I could render two successfully visible, shadows, visible in raytrace and have good reflections and shadows. It had to be one of the two with exposed engines that was made invisible. I could leave all three visible in raytracing as long as one of the ones with a visible engine was invisible and no shadows. Rendering in background generated some really big memory uses of over 4Gb but did not complete the task. I refer to these three designs as hot rod2 where hot rod1 was more upright, square and 20's, light car sort of a streamlined dragster of the mid 50's with a funny car cabin from the 70's and 50's custom. Think of the engines as top fuel, altered, and N stock. These are sanctioning body terms.

That is odd why you could not get the background to render. perhaps if you converted it to a static image (like a billboard plane} (1D) might of worked? None the less, this is a fine render up front of these beautiful autos :-)

the one on the right looks very much like a 53-54 Ford, better than the actual car.all 3 are excellent modeling
