Description
This is another image I took for that tourist guide contest. It's not my usual style, and I think it's kind of plain, but the idea was to take shots that would work as a cover photo.
(The real name of the place is Marina Beach Park, for those of you who might try to find it!)
One of my favorite places!

Just like Weir's beach, (which is mine!). This is a great shot. I love all the soft, warm and worn colours of driftwood, and its amazing textures! I like this shot very much.
That's a lot of old wood there! Excellent composition, and you even managed to get some blue sky in it...is that postwork? LOL!
I'm hoping to get to the coast this weekend, this inspires me to make sure it happens!
Great shot, you got a bit of everything here, including the couple sitting on the log!! Just my kind of place!!
I found, as I traveled north on our coast, this sort of beach scene becomes very common but that is not to say that the sight of it is common. As your wonderful pov shows in this shot, it is awesome!
Great capture...
All that firewood going to waste....only seen near logging areas...great POV..
It's the beach and there's the ocean, and stuff washed up on shore; Never dull or plain to me! I think it's great and I wish that was me and my hubby sitting there on those logs... lol.
Hi Tara May Now I could sit for hours "drift away" and dream wonderful capture sweet smile to you warm hug, Linda Kaye
You kind of wonder where all these wood came from? Some of these have been done, sawed, carved by man. Interesting find.... Aloha
....schöne Aufnahme! Das Holz könnte ich für den nächsten Winter brauchen!
super find and capture
WOW! That is indeed some Driftwood. What a fantastic sight. Such an axcellent shot, Tara.
What a marvellous place! I like your pic very much, Tara!
fantastic capture my friend, excellent image
Lots of interest in this shot... excellent photo.
Love it Tara... Looks like a great place to sit on a log and ponder!!! :)
Great low POV with a lot of depth created that way. I think the cloudscape makes it an excellent choice for a cover page, good luck! If you submitted this, I would love to know what the outcome was.
Interesting and well done :o)
Beautiful image, excellent well done..
Wow! Where are the beachcombers in your area Tara? All this wood going to waste, I would be down there with a chain saw, there is a lot of money to be made from this. All sorts of trinkets can be made from house door plaques to wooden indian totem poles. I would be all over this place for months on end salvaging and taking pictures. I will have to try and find an aerial view of this place see what it look like from space. Excellent capture, if I was a judge on the selection panel you just won. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
Tara, this is a wonderful capture!
Excellent capture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very interesting image!!! :)
Beautiful beach and capture, I would like it here, Tara. Hugs. Di. xx
I definitely think they should use this one, then they would think we have gorgeous skies like this all the time lol. I love all the driftwood and the couple it looks so romantic.
