Description
Hello All!
Feel bad I havn't been on the much here ~ my kids have gotten out of school and they have been on this computer that has my images 24/7 -its been a really hot week here sometimes over 110 so all three girls have been in the house to keep cool. But I miss you all and wanted to drop by a hello and put this image of a butterfly I captured in the tall grasses. No crop here I was lucky enough to get REALLY close to this guy and shot it on macro mode with my nikon 7900 pocket cam. ( I have four cameras now that I always drag around with me everywhere but always seem to reach for my old nikon- uhmmm it's a funny sight that beat up old cam held together with a rubber band these days and It dosn't really close properly now but I still love doing macros with it LOL!!!! DONT LAUGH NOW )
I am not sure of this butterfly's type but it had beautiful golden colors so titled.
Hope you like my golden butterfly I had done it today much much larger but figured I would reduce it for easier viewing. hmm wondering what do most of you prefere larger or smaller presentations online?....just curious today about that !
Thanks for all your time and comments !!!!
Love to all!!!

So beautiful. What a great capture with such vivid color. It's impossible to see a butterfly and not smile. With regard to image size, sometimes it is nice to see the larger view to get all the detail. Though this has really super detail. Stay cool.:o) CC
Oh how pretty, I loved to see larger photos Kimmers. Rubber bands huh! hehehe
Oh wow Kim !! how beautiful is this ? what a beautiful and detailed shot superb !! :)
Awesome picture my friend!!!!
Wow that old nikon takes a fantastic macro, or maybe it's the incredible photographer behind the lens. Wonderful colors. I wish we had butterflies here, once I saw a b&w one fluttering around. Hope you stay cool. Good to see you around.
Beautiful closeup of this gorgeous butterfly, Kimmie! Great that you were able to get this close! I feel for y'all in that heat! And your presentations are always a joy to view no matter what size!
I prefer something that fills the scene and if it overflows, only by a little bit so at least I can get the full view without scrolling back and forth. This is so beautiful no matter the size. The colors are festive!
Lovely.
Fabulous! ...and size doesn't really matter ;-) Not with your photo's anyway!
It looks really fantastic and for me the size is ok!!
Spectacular color and detail. It has been hot here in Illinois too. I like larger images. Li
Like a wonderful work of art, great!!
Beautiful Kimmers I think it depends on the output quality if it looks as good bigger I prefer that.. Though in this day and age it can be wise to just show smaller images
