Description
A shadow person and their shadow. Thanks to Zulfikar of stock.xchng for taking maybe the best picture ever of a person reflected in a clock, which I've used like fifty times.
This is for anahata.c (adagio-sostenuto on DeviantArt), the motormouth commenter who's been so good to me lately. I know he likes my photomerges so I hope he appreciates this. I'd fiddled with it off and on for months before I finally started fooling around with duplicate layers and it payed off. The subjects are almost unrecognizable so I put it in Abstract.

EDIT: shouldn't have assumed the gender of the person reflected in the clock. sorry.

Excellent image!
wow...I've been sick so haven't been on the web much. I missed your recent uploads so just stopped by when, boom, you dedicated something to me! Sir Motormouth at your service! (Yeah, I like the title; it's a lot better than what some people call me.) Do I like the image? Yes. Not that I wouldn't want to break the mold with a scathing review, but you have a way with broad moods and these silken color-flows across your surfaces, and this is a good example. It looks like you're looking through a keyhole to someone walking into the next life: a strange sensuous & disembodied warp of golds/platinums and sepias (well, dark sepias!) and I'm kind of blown away that you dedicated something to me...I know you have an eye for the close-up, but hand you a few stock shots and you're off and running. I accept your dedication with honor, my liege, and commend you on another intense manipulation. Grazie! (See, I didn't say "powerful". Not once...)
What a cool-looking image, like a dream ...
