Description
From last month, down by the pond. Mom really liked this one. You're free to hate it if you want, though. It looks pretty boring.
Postwork was minimal; just brightened up the colors a little.

No, don't say that. It's not boring at all!!! I saw some leaves just like this yesterday; I took a few shots just cuz I thought they were pretty. I haven't postworked them yet though :) Glad you uploaded this.. Its very pretty. (so dont knock it) :)
I'm afraid I'm gonna have to agree with tizjezzme. Laugh at me if you will, but this is actually a good picture. Gotta see it full-size: You've got some deep reds in the leaves and stems, but they're luminous and they morph into yellows. The leaves are as much about light as about substance. And you captured reflected light on the tops which acts like a canopy. Nope, gotta agree with Ms. T, I really like this picture. (Just when you think you've bored everyone, people come along and like it!) The way I see it, your eye is so powerful, even a boring pic from you will have life—and this one isn't boring. I like your eye, Ms. a...you're a natural born photographer...
