I've never had the patience for fishing ever since I sat two days running with a friend when we were kids, we both never caught a sausage (or a fish lol) great capture, most fishermen that I have seen usually sit down. nice composition and reflection, Bravo!

Creek fishing is best. Lake fishing can be alright if the timing is right and the schools show up. For outright gluttony nothing beats smelt runs in the Great Lakes or grunnion runs at the Pacific beaches.

My heavens, look at the length of that pole! I use a 7 footer so this looks rediculously LONG. But I'm sure this type of fishing hole requires this type of pole. As old as he is, I'm sure he is veyr experienced at this. Lovely shot.
