Description
Captured 2/2/07, around 7:10 AM, about .65 mile/1.046 kilometers from my hectic habitat.
This feathered old dude looks mean and just spoiling for a fight. Hooted something about territorial imperative. It's a wonder it let me get that close for a portrait.
Thankx for dropping by, and that's toodles for this Thursday.

Fun shot. Was he successful in scaring away all the other little critters?

LOL! cool shot!
One hooty shot Harry. Like a detailed carving on a head and got a good colors, almost real but the eyes give it away.
Fantastic shot.
Great fun!
"Owl be seeing you, in all the old familiar places" ... (sometimes I am amazed at the things that leap, unbidden, into my mind!) An excellent capture of this fierce-looking creature of the garden, my dear! I don't think I could have resisted a couple shots of him, either. Nicely done! "Owl be looking at the moon, but owl be seeing you."
What a hoot Harry... hahaha ....... couldn't resist that one. Fun capture ol boy, me likes!!
Fabulous shot Harry, this is a hoot LOL :o)x hugs Jane xx
cool lookin' owl :) gosh, I feel so ashamed I'm so far behind here :(
Hey, so THAT's where he went! He used to live on my dad's pontoon boat at Lake Havasu, to keep the smaller birds away. My dad sold the boat, so I guess this guy had to find work somewhere else.
