Description
I was just walking around my yard the other day and the sun was out --a HUGE deal--and saw how it was hitting my roses. The light from under the flowers as the sun shone down on them was just so wonderful, gave them this delicate, translucent look. So, of course, out came my camera. Took me about 50 shots to get two or three I liked. This is one of them.

Incredible color, I love this!
excellent shot and what a gorgeous color of this flower !!
Marilyn - stunning capture girl!!!
great backlit capture, a splendid full Rose like glowing embers. I regularly take hundreds of shots of just about anything lol, and when I get them onto my PC there are only 2 good ones each time (if I'm lucky).
What a beauty! I love the little white "tips" on the petals. It looks like it has been dipped in icing sugar! Lovely image Marilyn!!!
Very romantic picture !
Well worth the effort from over here! Aren't you glad it wasn't film?!?

Wonderful image!! worth the trouble!
Magnificent picture. Excellent!!
so lovely
vibrant, electrified, bold and festive. This is just gorgeous! Wonderfully lit!
the color combos are incredible!
Fifty shots? I don't think I would have that much desire, drive and patience, no matter the subject matter. It's ten tries for me at the most, then let the chips fall where they may. Anyway, I love the color blends and lighting in this endeavor, Marilyn, really looks as if the lovely bloom is simmering with heat! And congratulations on the sunshine.
Warm, I like it too. Thank you.
Rich in beauty....Nice capture. Aloha
Very Nice indeed and the light is very nice!!!
I go out in the garden quite regular hunting spiders, I might take a hundred or more go into the house check them out don't find any I like so go back out and take another hundred. Greatest thing since sliced bread is digital camera's. I can't believe the amount of money I spent on film and developing, I never had a darkroom so it was all done professionally. Superb image here Marilyn, the lighting is very good indeed. Bravo!!!!! Hope you are enjoying yourselves, and haven't wrecked the joint. Lol.
And worth every shot! It really does look like it's on fire. Beautiful!!
Very beautiful one Marilyn!!!
