Description
My 5D died today.. Looks as if the shutter is stuck so will have to send it away for repair and get a full service done at the same time... Not sure if any of you have had a similar problem and I must say until now it has performed perfectly, and taken 15,000 shots with it.. So I had to fall back on my trusty 10D for this shot of the Flamingo who maybe not so Blue as me lol!!

A fantastic photo my friend.....!!! Lament that of their camera, you say that had carried out about 15.000 shots approximately, for what I have understood that is the maximum accepted by a digital camera, the inconvenience of repairing them is that later the balance of white strays and there is not form of to correct it to less than that you want pictures with dominant of color, or the other option is to take in B&W.

Interestingly Danny, a friend of mine had the same problem with his 5D, it turned out to be a small piece of debris in the works, and the guy at Jessops said it was jamming the mechanism, although I can't say how much the repair was?....Excellent shot here, The colour of the bird is exquisite!
Just goes to show it's the photographer not the camera that takes the best shots.
