Description
This image came out of some quick 3d concepts made in Vue Infinite..The ecosystem makes working with big cityscapes very quick & easy
buildings & ships modeled in 3dsmax,rendered in Vue6 with heavy post in Photoshop...according to Vue the polycount is in the billions :o

That's absolutely amazing.
Excellent work!
You're pumping the artwork out at a right old rate of knots at the moment! Stunning work as usual, great detail, PoV, lighting...you show off! :-P
I'll just say wow and leave it at that!
...... Superb, fantastic, giant .... Arghhh !
Very, very cool image. Thanks. BTW, have you heard of the SETI at Home project? http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/
Super job! Just wonderful. Sorry Scott2753, Vue renders each of those polys, they are only 'billboards' in the OpenGL preview. I've seen scenes rendered in the trillions of polys with Vue. Stefan, I really like the idea this shot is rendered 'inside'. Very cool!
Excellent work! 5+
OMG!! you must have the patience of a saint to get this immense detail

Absolutely stunning - the lighting and atmospherics are just killer.

oh yes, a great work... my poor computer would immediately burst, if he had to do such a render-job...
Nice. Very nice. I love working with V6I.
Billions? With a "B"? YIKES! Very cool image, though. It's got a very oppressive feel to it. The layers of detail are amazing.
Happy your pc could handle that lol, great scene Stefan :) Angela
brilliant scifi 'scape! how do you manage to pack so much in there without blowing up your computer?
Impressive scene!
Instead of 'awesome' and all that stuff...What are those floaty things tied with cables? Is the scene of an underground city with a chasm above to the sky? You definitely inspired my curiosity! XD
Awesome! This must be seen at full size to really appreciate those fantastic details.
INCREDIBLE!!! You are a Master!! Most Xcellent!! 5+++!!
There are obvious comparisons with Independence Day, but this looks so much more impressive, kinda like where they visited before coming to earth, the lighting and shaders are uber cool. Awesome.
Faaaarrrkkkkk!!!! mate straight from a movie!
wow love your work
