This is an orange azalea, one of the fotos I got the day of that infamous "azalea tour"**. There are many brilliant colors of these flowers and I did get to see a lot of them before we bailed!!

colorful!
what a brazen colour .love the detail .excellent marilyn :o) mick
It realy pops out at you from the dark background Marilyn, super colour tones. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!
Dazzling colours for this nice closeup !
A vibrant and energetic capture! I don't like guided tours much and prefer tours be self-guided and pamphlets or information sheets with maps provided. That way I can see what I want to see, learn what is important to me and do it all at my own pace. When in one of these tour groups, I have a tendancy to start asking irritating questions that take the docent off the normal presentation and frustrate them. :-) Generally it works pretty well...the guide either speeds things up to get away from me or I'm asked if I'd like to just go on and explore on my own and meet up at the front later with any questions I have.
superbe !!!
Very nice I think you just need a bowl of salsa haha :)
Brilliant!!! WOW
The orange variety of azalea is hard to come by. And when you find one at a nursery, they are so damned expensive.
wonderful capture warm hug, Linda
looks like fire at first lol cool shot
This is pretty but gotta admit I like the other one that MicK suggested....
Hmmm, at first glance of this dynamic and vivid bouquet I thought these were lilies. That shows how much I know about things floral. In any case, terrific flamelike effects of the azaleas -- looks like a ball of fire -- contrasted against the pitchblack background, Marilyn.
LOL! You'll get kicked out of the azalea club for sure, with this postwork! :) I think it's grand. Give 'em heck, woman!
I like this a lot. :)
Very nice..... Aloha
Maximum Gorgeousness!!!
