Description

My Iris bloomed late this spring..and I thought the way this one was unfolding to bloom was kind of neat so therefore the pic of it *grin* And good news...after a series of test, when I went to get my meds refilled my Dr told me no new signs of cancer anywhere...this made me so happy and I said,"Well no new signs of cancer no chemo huh?" and he replied I have to take the chemo for prevention of it coming back...oh well can tolerate that..but if the gas goes up to $5.00 a gallon or may have to work it around my monthly paycheck....$10 of gas goes no where anymore when I used to could almost fill up my car with it before it started going up...Saw one gas station that had a sign they were out of gas...wonder when that is going to start happening everywhere? And the price of food is skyrocketing also..due to the gas it cost to bring it in..am trying to stay on the Morphine only...I still hurt and can't sit long so please forgive me if I don't comment on your images everyday...and trying to stay away from the ER..am trying to deal with the pain better but at times it is awfully hard... I hope all of you are doing okay... Many thanks for your comments.. Only added border and name...... All post work done in PSP 9 Hope you all have a great week.... Hugs Susan~

wowwwwwwwwwwww susan... it's a pretty unique one... as Fa,Mulan's father says about a late blooming flower (yes I'm almost 21 and I know disney movies by heart)... "I'm sure when it blooms it would be the most beautiful of all"

Sis, this is gorgeous!! And, your news from the doctor is fantastic! Praise God!!! I am so happy for you and will continue you in my prayers! I totally agree with you about the price of gas- it's totally crazy and I'm afraid it's going to get worse before it gets better. Big Hugs!

Startling in color and it is very unusual. Nicely done! As for your health, I had no doubts you would be fine. I've been waiting for this news, as you know, for some time. You go, girl! Soon you will put the pain behind you...I'm sure of it. :-)

That unusual iris is worthy of preserving! Nice photo, Sis! So happy for you that you have no cancer to deal with now..wish you didn't have to keep having chemo, though! :( And the price of gas is out of sight! No more rides in the country for me! Food bills are awfully high, too! Guess I'll have to stop eating, too!

Good to hear no C-cells detected. As for gas prices, I try to use my motorcycle to and from work much as possible. It does help. I see more and more larger trucks/cars are for sale. The price of everything is going up. Hope the gas prices settle down or at least find some other means of fuel. Ooops... The flower. When I first saw it, it looked like it was a dancer... Beautiful. Aloha

Lovely iris - great POV shot loooking down on it. I'm glad to hear you're doing well and that the cancer seems to be gone. :) There may be lots of negative stuff going on in this world (like gas prices) but at least you're alive and kicking. There's a lot to be said for that. Have a great day!

That is a nice shot of your Iris and it has great color. You do great work!! I am glad to read of no new negative cells, that is great news. I was wondering if you got to go to The Secret.com??? if so, how did you like it!!! I just read last night that there is a way to regrow amputated limbs, by helping the body do its job. I was stunned and shocked that we have so many amputees from the war, they would be very happy to find this out. The name of the book is: Death by Diet by Robert R. Barefoot Chapter 3 pages 13-14. This book was given to me as people know that I am interested in alternative ways of healing and health. I could hardly get to sleep!! If you knew "Scotty" you could have him beam you to where you needed or wanted o go. This Huricane season will be severe and New Orleans may get hit again and now they are saying New York may end up looking like New Orleans did!! Your friend, Lightpen
