Description
It appears that I have quite unintentionally misled some of you, and I want to take this opportunity to clear up a few misconceptions.
Jill and I did not just stumble upon Lake Billy Chinook. She knew exactly where she was going and what we were going to see, and we went there on purpose. However, she did not tell me what it looked like or show me pictures before we went. So I was totally surprised, gob-smacked and blown away by this huge lake in a place that appeared to be perfectly flat.
I was never more than a few yards from the car. I did not climb anywhere, I did not hike, and I wasn't hanging off any cliffs at any time. I am a middle-aged, gray-haired lady in flip-flops and a straw hat with a camera, and I acted accordingly. The camera has a zoom feature - I do not! LOL!
Full view, of course! (I hope this didn't turn out to be too horribly compressed.)

very excellent,Hugs for peace and happiness in your life
Excellent shots, Tara; I love the light on the first one. There's a nice trail from one of the campgrounds back to the top, but I don't think I'd want to do it when it's 95 degrees LOL. It's nice to see it green; it's always dry and brown when I'm there.
What a neat idea for a collage Tara....I especially like the last one....great job.
