Train leaving Ramsdown Station (they even gave fictitious names to the stations)
my original plan was to do the whole series in sepia/B&W but I liked this one as it was taken.

Superb shot even if it is color, B/W or sepia :)
Super shot Love the way you have captured the smoke from the loco. And the snakelike line of carrages. Great result, looks great.
Fantastic colors and Superb shot.
i really love this train compo ... love the old world feel of the steam rising workers coming up out peering from the train and pov!!!! amazing shot !!!
I don't know why they stuck their heads out like that Alan, unless somebody had been on the curry last night maybe. Lol. Excellent capture, and I agree, it looks great in colour, I think it would look great in any colour. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
Great shot! I love the POV and leaving it in color looks great as well :)
Great capture Alan, excellent well done..
excellent pov and a fantastic capture my friend !!
SO glad you kept the colour, it's super! A brilliant shot!
Great POV here, and perfect timing to catch the smoke and the two gentlemen. I'm also glad you kept this in color.
Magnifique cadrage pour ce sujet sur rail, avec "cerise sur le gateau" : le conducteur de la locomotive
Beautiful capture Alan!
Yesm and it is really an excellent capture. I almot thought you were standing on the train LOL.
Excellent capture my friend.
Great shot!
Excellent capture Alan! Thanks for sharing this series of shots

Superb shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great POV & composition - well done!
Very nice POV ! Bravo ! I like the colors too !
Wonderful capture! Color is perfectly appropriate - they had color film in the 1940s. Our local public television station has been running "The War In Color" recently. There was LOTS of color footage taken during WWII. You're on safe ground!
i think you made the right choice aswell alan and well you know i love trains lol :o)..excellent capture mate mick
Great work!! I like it in color myself
that must been a big place you two was at. cool pov
Doing this pic in sepia will be a good idea, but it works very well in this way, too! Great old guys playing railroad! And I´m not able to play with you: Its a shame!´LOL... I hope you enjoyed the day!
Superb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!5* and Fav!
A wonderful capture of this steam-engined train Alan. Brings back memories of the smell, sound, and the blastering of the coal residue, Sig..
