** Update ** Taking Cimaira's advice, I changed the surfare material on Mike's hair and eliminated the shininess. Thank you, Cimaira!
If I used Vicky, then I felt I had to put Mike 3 though his paces as well. I don't render enough guys. I'm correcting that as I go.

wonderful underwater scene! and I bet if you change the surface tab settings on that hair from plastic to mat, it wouldn't look so shiny. but the water looks fantastic
