excellent capture Richard, these are indeed one of my favorite bugs. :-)
Great macros. Our house is filled with the ladybugs who wintered in the walls. No spots on yours though.
That is a fantastic capture! You can still kind of see the indication of black spotting on the back. Very nicely shot!
Excellent macros, perfectly focussed!

Not just a Japanese beetle. A real friend of the garden and a second page in don't kill spiders they eat garden pests.

Very nice shot!
Interesting macro capture. Odd about the black paint not showing.
Very cute. Excellent picture.
Super macro of these garden 'goodies.' My Jeep Cherokee is deemed a 'mineral gray' color but never picks up the blue tones within Chrysler's color scheme when photographed.
Such a beautiful capture i love lady bugs superb work hugs lou x
I thought that ladybugs always had spots on they’re back. I think I was wrong. Beautiful macros!

Is there ever a moment when you DON'T have the camera within reach, Richard? lol. Good thing for us! Again, lovely macros from you. And, besides, ladybugs just plain make me smile. Now, grab your gear and head my way...tons of cicadas here, creaking their way out of their shells, covering everything. Endless macro material.. ;)
Excellent macos
