Although fast and maneuverable, The Crapshoot lacked any reasonable sort of firepower. to compensate for this, the designers crafted a fake exterior texturing which resembled the :dealers" which cover the larger Reen-Oh Starships. At first, the subtrefuge worked, leading many Vay-Gas pilots to believe that they were facing a well-armed and formidable opponent. After the truth came out and was discovered that the Crapshoot was a bluff, they were routinely shot out of the sky in a maneuver called the "Cheney". Although ugly and a sham, they changed missions from being a fighter to being a fast courier ship, where they were voted Ugliest Courier Ship for the next 47 years running until the introduction of the Vay-Gas "Groupie" Courier Ship.
