Good Day to you all
thanks for commenting on my previous photo . .I appreciate it
Did you know the word comes from the French, dente de lion (or lions tooth) because of the shape of the leaves? And people used to think if you touched one you would wet the bed? , but it is actually because the leaves or stem can be used as a diureticthere you are, some fascinating dlion facts! makes a good wine too I heard

this looks very very beautiful. colors and lightnins are perfect!
I just use the mower and they are gone...well for a few days anyhow...lol Nice macro capture, Lu.
Excellent macro Lu!
Great shot and perfect name...I've played havoc on them with my trusty garden hoe!
And my parrot loves the leaves as a snack!
Dandilion and burdock, it is a wonderful soft drink, beautiful with ice, also nice to mix with a little gin :)...Never ever tried the wine?...I remember as a kid, we were told not to touch them as they were wet the beds LOL...Rabbits absolutely love the leaves of these, it's like a drug to them!
Great shot! ;)
The hated weed, but I have always loved them. You've created a beautiful masterpiece with them ... I love this!
But a very pretty blossom...great image...
Oh this post work is so magical!!! I love it Lu :-)
Wonderful work.
And it makes a great wine. And the leaves are great in salads or steamed for a side dish. :-) You can even use the stem for a straw...LOL Great shot and postwork.
Nice photo Lu and interesting to read about. Sometimes even weeds can look good. I'm with Keith though in that I've just mowed the grass, so they've gone for a bit. Tony :-)
