The roots and leaves of a bonsai tree in infrared and with a little postwork. I like how the bark has an appearance similar to the skin of a young potato, and the know towards the lower middle looks a bit like the eye of an octopus. -----

I love this. I could so easily go down the IR path.
Exquisite!
Excellent capture.
Fascinating!
Great textural capture. Tony :-)
Just when I thought your IR shots were getting boring, you whip this out. Damn. This is a perfect example of how you can get many nuances from just one shot -- it looks like some sort of alien lifeform or deep sea creature (your comment about the octopus eye wasn't even needed to give that impression but it did get me thinking). Very intricate and fascinating image.
At first I thought it was fresh ginger root. Excellent work!
Amazing. What a technique! That little bit of blue up on the little stump adds so much.
Always so exciting to see a perfect IR photo.
I see what you mean. A wonderful photo.
very amazing capture. Fascinating!
A great saying and so true. Wow.. this is a wonderful capture with so much depth and texture. I can see an elephant's head near the bottom with his eye closed. Amazing what everyone sees. This has to be a favourite.
Great composition Kort. Really liking the whole form of the roots and leaves.. and I totally agree... the lower section looks like an octopus. Excellent shot my friend.
Fantastic composition!
Wonderful capture.
Beautifully confusing and intruiging.
Beautiful!
I love this Kort ! fave ~
Mmm...just like an IR Cthulhu, especially with that potato skin and eye...down right freaky Kort ! ~Cheers~

A gorgeous IR shot! Love the sharpness here!!!
Amazing capture. IR + toning greatly enhanced the presentation. Regards, Igor.
Texture reminds me of ginger roots. Interesting... Aloha
Greetings Kort, If one squints at the photograph, it has the appearance of being something found within our bodies. I like the over all textures. Thank you for sharing. egmont
