Description
Captured 5/17/08, around 8:00 AM, about 1.4 miles/2.253 kilometers from my downtrodden dwelling.
The same poppies as I displayed yesterday, the difference being in POV.
Please excuse my egregious sin of clipping off part of the petal on the right side of the top photo. Things like that do happen when staring into the sun.
Thanks to all who helped confirm and identify this flower yesterday.
And have a motivated and propitious work week.

Love the delicate blossoms, both with that gorgeous deep blue really enhances the bright yellow color!
Very pretty!
Good work.
Who hasn't clipped a corner of something?... we all have... still a lovely color and light and again, Harry, the quality of your images is greatly improved lately.
Super pics, Harry! I love the shape of the shadows in the top one.

Wonderful double again what I don't mind at all if it is such a beauty like this poppy. Like a bottom capture. Blue background and a yellow petals looks so great.

These are beautiful; even though you cropped a little -- so what. It's still beautiful. The clarity and color are fantastic! :)
Beautiful images, my friend. Both are gorgeous. I admit a preference for the bottom shot ... it's the light, and the transluscence of the petals. Stunning!
