Description
An A6M2 "Zeke" fighter takes off from the deck of the Japanese aircraft carrier Akagi. Rendered in Poser 6, with a Bryce sky applied to a skydome. Post on the water done in PSP 8.

I wonder who does paintings for Mitsubishi? Now that Harry Gann (photography) and R.G. Smith (paintings) are gone I can ask such questions. To me, "Zeke" was Cormier. This image and it's appearance here has much relevance in the world of aviation art. It should not be ignored by history.
