Hello folks, thx for the critics on my first try of Quarzon X moon !
In this revised image I was trying to take into consideration all the statements.

This isn't Terragen I guess, but looks cool...
Kannst Du die Gebirgsze etwas schfer zeichnen? Die Schlammfelder sind immer noch recht ground die Wolken ein wenig 'strange', aber die Lichtverhtnisse gefallen mir besser als beim ersten Bild.
Excellent image, thanks for re-posting...and you've even stumped the experts ;)....its good to see an image that you can't just pick exactly how it was made and what was used, this is very original....

@Ralph & Trotzgoof it is Terragen. Slightly postprocessed ;-) Only the planet is pasted in with Photoshop 5.5 . No other bit or color modifications are made. Sky & terrain is rendered together in a single render. Terrain size is 513x513 extern generated. Imported with firmament plugin.
yep better atmosphere. looks like aurea borealis (did i type it right???) terrain is great. cool stuuf.
The colors are very good, nice cracking at the water. The viewpoint is a bit close at my opinion, a more detailed world would make the composition much more interesting I think. Some mirrors at the water could be good too. The feeling of the image are very fine.
