OK- SO they're rats in a tuxedo, and can make a garden look like a mine field...but they're still awfully cute! :o)
We must have a dozen chipmunks (or more!) around our property, and this apparently is one of the mothers. I was trying to "speak chipmunk" and she must have thought one of her young was up to something because she came out quick to investigate.

I'm not big on squirrels but i love chipmunks, and mostly they stay in our woodpile. They are darling!
I was so afraid the chipmunks here were gone..somehow did not make it through the hibernation. Well, this photo caused me to ask my wife, who just came in. She has seen them. Whew, a relief! They are here and I may get a shot or two of them. Sorry for all the prologue. You did me a favor by catching my attention with the thumb. As for the photo, quite well done! Detail is just fine. Go for it and I will check out your other shots when time allows. Glad to meet another member here.
