Description

luckily the brute of the storm missed us.a tornado past to the north of Dallas but I do not think there was damage thanks for viewing and any comments if you notice? I did turn it on it's side because I shot vertically and it would have been hard to view at one time and it makes it look more intimidating I believe

A glorious capture, however I find it's better to read about tornados than be there. Thanks for the share.

Amazing shot. Just a funny thought... I think this is a beautiful shot of nature. But maybe it is scary at the same time.. If one has to live with the fear of tornados... It is hard to imagine how it really feels when one has never experienced it. We don't have tornados in Denmark where i am from. But i saw the movie Twister which is claimed to be pretty realistic. And i saw a lot of tornado documentary on Discovery channel too... So i know how violent and devastating tornados can be...

Interesting how a little rotation picture-wise changes the focus and feel of an image, huh? I do that too. Wonderful image~

It does have a dramatic look to it Richard, I don't mind viewing tornado's, as long as they are of a distant place, through the monitor. I know they can be very distructive and feel for people that have had bad experiences from them, but that does not stop them being exciting to see. We really are wierd people at times, especially the storm chasers. Excellent capture, glad no one was hurt. Bravo!!!!!

It does make it look a lot more scary like this Richard. We are still cleaning up around here from the storms the other day. A few people are still missing including a baby, it was very horrible.
