Description
While on a hike last week through a woodland area we were pleasantly greeted by a carpet of bluebells.
Thanks for all the latest comments and I was thrilled to see how many had chosen the little Elephants as a favourite, a big thankyou to you all !

Excellent capture Alan, love the postwork, there used to be a wood covered by Bluebells near to where I was born, the chap who owned it died and the land was sold for houses to be built, shame really. Still you have proved that they are still around, it's just that you have to walk further to find them. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!

Ah, dreamy glades of bluebells, with butterflies and bees, and finches flitting about... That would just be about perfect, Alan. This is nice, especially with the postwork. Thanks for sharing it. It brought back memories of working as a country policeman in the early 1980s in the beautiful Clyde Valley between Crossford and Stonebyres ( now in South Lanarkshire, Scotland ). I was privileged to see deer running wild, untouched wild meadows, and the great variety of wildlife to see in the late spring - early summer mornings, freewheeling, slowly down the steep, winding country roads.
