Description
Captured 5/2/08, very early in the morning, within walking distance of my semidomesticated domicile.
Top photo shows the original image; the bottom picture shows the same one having been postworked with the ink outlines filter, incidentally one of Andrea's (durleybeachbum) favorite filters. This display is rather subtle compared to the treatment she performs with her postwork.
Well worth zooming in on.
Thanks for looking in, and have a totally transcendent Thursday.

It's a beautiful rose and incidentally I lost my only pink rose in the garden. Interesting experiment with the filter. I am still a long way from uploading any of my meager efforts.
Very beautiful rose, excellent captured. The postwork looks great, but I prefer the original. :)
Beautiful rose, Harry, and nice postwork.
Great idea to show a before/after shot Harry. Like a beautifulness on the original but also fascinated by a postworked version.
Beautiful rose....
I always eagerly await your roses and you never disappoint me!!
Oh yes, postwork, I've done a little myself!!! Another beauty!!
This is really pretty; I love that Ink Outline filter, too ..
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is wonderful
Such a lovely rose! The filter is fun too!
Nice work..but like the original..just a purist I guess...
Beautiful rose and fantastic work.
That loooks great, Harry!! I like both, but that filter is SO easy and such fun it's a shame not to use it!!
What a glorious pink color!!! Great image friend!! xx
Wonderful Work!!!!
Stunning colors and details!!!!!
Beautiful! I love seeing two versions of the same image, and this one is a perfect candidate for that! The original is stunning, and the postworked version shows off your talent to good effect. Nicely done, my friend!
Very beautiful image.
Interesting deviation from the norm, Harry. I like the recent experimentations you have done with filters and effects.
Beautiful rose, even though I much prefer the original version!
