Description
Captured 4/25/08, around 7:45 AM, within walking distance of my deleterious dwelling.
The beauty in the center sure looks like a camellia.
Better viewed full size.
For the global warming scoffers, it's currently 101 degrees fahrenheit downtown and 104F in my covered patio at 3:45 PM on this late April day.
Thanks for the visit, and have a stunningly stellar Sunday.

WOWWWWWWWWW Tres magnifique!
Wow, we're barely gonna hit 70 and even then people will complain about the "heat"!! Gorgeous rose, as always!!
Beautiful picture! I'd be dead within days where you live, Harry!
Fiery red color of these roses are so amazing. Like a triangle line created a way you captured a rose bush.
it hot there. but these roses is lovely
Beautiful roses and Fantastic capture.
Such beautiful roses! I love the colors. Stay cool, my friend! It's hard to believe the temperature there. It's far too early in the year for it to be that hot, even in the Southland! Of course I believe you, but ... yikes!!
wonderful mixed colours, toch by sunlight....well done
The roses need no shade. They surge into the spotlight. I will think of the camelia as Jesuit and forget the invisible realm of the Knights.
Stunning colored roses! I like the idea of having them in different stages of opening in one shot! xx
Wonderful colors and light. Excellent shot, a pleasure to look at!
Send me some of that heat. Us hardy Minnesotans are losing our status, shivering through our snowy spring! Nice capture of this healthy rose bush.
