Very original and beautiful. Congrats for colors and depth of field, too.
What I know about pines is contained in something I can't quite see here. White pines have shorter needles in bundles of five and Norway pines have longer needles in bundles of three. That leaves lodge pole pines Loblolly pines and many more out of my ken but not out of my sight. The cones here look like white pine cones. As for Princess Leia!!?? one must brush the needles as softly as a breeze. Did you get pitch on your hand from the place where it joins?
Oh, I like this wonderful capture, Lizzi sweet smile to you warm hugs, Linda

Splendid POV, clarity and detail in this capture of the baby pine tree sapling, Miss Lizzi! So, with Princess Leia, where are Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, R2-D2, C-3PO, Chrewbacca, Darth Vader, et al?
Cute picture.
