Description
Today Victoria has a heavy burden to hold. She finally got me to look up the history of Huron Portland Cement. It begins with a grocery store owner cooking limestone and blue shale in his stove. Sadly, the history available is all environmental now mixed with labor. She thought maybe the connection from the four mile dam and the seven mile dam and the downtown weir to the three mill races of the Society for Establishment of Useful manufacturing would provide a way to understand how the 1830's and 1840's created the family root locally.

A ten shooter! Now I know who supplied Roy Rogers' pistols. Octagon barrels were heavy. But metallergy at the time of their inception was not as refined. The flash from one of these in your face could be some what disconcerting (to say the least). Is this to be a Talpindo "One of One Thousand?
