"Inverted bonsai, Is it true that fruit falls up For little Newton?" ~ 01101001
I like the swoop of old wood in this pine bonzai at the Morikami Japanese gardens. The little burst of pine needles are a nice contrast to the dead wood. That, and the repetitive details in the background made for an interesting image, at least for me. As always, I recommend viewing it full size. -----

Usually a busy background detracts, but not this time! It adds! Excellent composition, and effect. Love it. ;o)
Houaaa Kort no possible, it's ++++ gorgeous my friend... I ADORE!
Your imagery is always the most intense.
I love the curve of the wood against the straight lines behind it. Very nice, Kort.
I agree with Cosine. Beautiful.
Superb image, the horizontal lines make a great backdrop in this and the tree in the back blends well and compliments the sculpture beautifully, great work !!
Excellent once more.. the fence makes it.
Outstanding capture. The pairing of the outside garden with the inside dish garden is wonderful.
loving this!!
Very good I like the muted colours.
Beaufitul, Kort. I've always loved Bonsai trees, the ir on this definitely does it justice.
I love the curve of the wood against the straight lines behind it. Very nice Agree here erland
Beautiful work...
cool looking
This is a wonderful image.. a linear study! Very nice.
Looks like the antlers of various African antelopes, Mr Kort. I was going to make a pun about the word, bonsai, but thought better of it.
This is an intense image: something of a Zen riddle as well. I look at it and I'm amazed that nothing is lost in this image. There's a lot of complexity here, but the colors are all within a limited range, which SHOULD add to confusion, and it doesn't. Fantastic work!
Excelent compo with a divided spaces. This is realy a fine capture.
Cool image with the backgroud blending:):):)
A stunner braddah Kort! Your excellent composition and POV and really makes me look for details...Excellent soothing tones, so easy on the eyes...Killer! Aloha~
Excellent composition and fantastic capture.
Beautiful photo!
Spectacular image!!! The colors are divine and the contrasts of natural shapes and geometric lines is fabulous!!!
Wow. This is awesome! The shape of the full-sized tree and the fence in the background are wonderful elements in and of themselves, and add a nice depth to the image. They also serve to focus our attention back on the main subject. An unbeatable combination! I bet this wouldn't be half as stunning in color. You rock!
Very nice tree art (drift wood)... Aloha
Image rafinée, légère comme une plume...
great comp, I like the way the background sets the subject
A beautiful Zen arrangement!
A fascinating shot with this tree and the wooden fence behind it! Creative really!!!
Dig those shapes and overall composition is top shelf ! super IR Kort ! ~Cheers~
