Description
This is some sort of Sparrow .. so many different kinds, I browsed through my bird book last night. I think I'll leave it up to Danny. The bird pro :)
Anyway, this was taken Saturday - when the sun was finally shining here in Minnesota. Birds were everywhere ... singing and flying around. It was a great sight.
I hope you have a nice day.
Happy Monday :)

Yes, my bird book lists 3 dozen kinds of sparrows. This certainly is a beautiful little one with lovely chest markings. Very nice shot with the pine needles.
Beautifult 5+++ erland
Stellar work. What more can I say?
All markings point to it as being a Fox Sparrow, wonderful capture and post work.
excellent composition and capture
Excellent capture and postwork.
Great capture and post work treatment. The markings resemble those of the fox sparrow?
cool little picture :) hey know what I'd love to see? some shots of that elusive little critter called the 'humming bird'. I keep trying to catch a good shot of one but the buggers just dont like to stay still long enough for me to snap a shot of them. If you've got any good shots of one please post :)
Cute, very beautiful shot!!
Cute little chap I would agree with Piet in it being a Fox sparrow as it appears to also be quite large..
