Description
I was trying to overcome my camera-shyness yesterday so I took some pictures of myself. There's this one, one of my hand and a tree and a couple silly faces I made. There was one where I was just smiling but it didn't look that great and was kind of . . . well, boring, so I'm not sure if I should post it or not. The silly ones are the best ones, anyway.
EDIT: Son of a bitch, forgot to mention the postwork (some dicking with the colors, a fair amount of Soft Light layer screwing around). Bye bye now.

I really, really like this one. One of the more creative things I have seen in a long time. It works on many different levels and is very mysterious, in a way. It makes me want to see more. uubale beat me to it with the "creative" comment. It's a superb close-up that offers the promise of something more while giving plenty of detail to attract the eye. Post the silly ones if they are the best!
Not your typical portrait, but who said they had to be of a person's face? That is why I like it... It has layers to it as well. The blown highlight (or nearly so) would be my only crit. BTW. your avatar cracks me up, espcially when he looks like he's trying to squeeze one out... ;'D
