Description
I thought that it was time I played with some fire and its effects.
Really, I was only tinkering with a few objects in Bryce just to see the effects it produces after manipulating quite a few of the settings in the terrain editors.
I added a couple of trees and was moving the fire spheres around when I enlarged the one sphere to a gigantic size and the trees literally became engulfed with flames under this large sphere. At that point a few more tweakings occurred and decided to go with the result as an abstract.
At 1920 x 1440 original render size, it took 7 hours to complete...I let the computer stay awake, while I get my sleep..lol

amazing image!
This is, like, way different for you. Very immaginative. Brings to mind Norman MacLean's description of the Dry Gulch inferno in his book "Young Men and Fire." Well done.
A powerful image in both color and design.
Great render, Keith. The full view is totally awesome. Love the details. Wonderfully done!!
