Couple of things I'd do different--Put him on the edge of the cliff/higher res cliff texture or procedural material with displacement enabled/move cliff-edge to under his feet, NOT move him. Overall, it's pretty powerful looking, just needing some tweaks to really jack it up. Some waves in the water, a ship on the horizon, or maybe some scrub on the cliff-top might be nice to get a REALLY kick-ass render. In the render-race, this is a STRONG blast off the chocks!
