Description
So, what is up with that planet?
lighting was a single white infinite light at about 150%, and four little red point lights in the cabin at about 30% each.
JoelGaine got it right -- the planet had been bombarded. Technically, I used two planets, one of which I applied a procedural spot node plugged into displacement to get the sporadic flames.

Cool lighting effects! The planet looks as if it's got measles. I really like the red rim lighting on the planet. Beautiful background too. The crew looks good, very businesslike. Good work on the hand poses, those tend to get overlooked, but here I can see that the hands have a good grip on the controls. Great job!
