Description
The fissures are located several miles beyond that hill. The smoke you see on the hill is from the forest fire caused by the lava. As for the people that lived on that hill, I'm not sure if their homes are still there. In the mean time, a young lady try's her luck playing with the lava. At that distance, the heat on her is very intense. She is there just for a few seconds and then backs off. Aloha and thank you for viewing

Where's the marshmallows and hot dogs but then again probably wouldn't be much left, Awesome shot!!
Great sense of scale with the figures included in the shot!
W O W ! ! ! Amazing image! Fascinating shot. I can't imagine what that felt like! I can see now why you say it burns the hair off the legs! Incredible image, one of the most insightful you have posted! Thanks so much for sharing this!!!
It makes me think of the old saying, if you play with fire... Luckily she has a stick to confront the excessive heat. The red and gray/black goes together well.
Very risky for the lady and also for you, an excellent shot displayed how near could a person get closed from this distance to this very dangerous lava !! Congratulations for your wonderful collection of lava shots!
What people will do to get fire! LOL! Great image!
