Description

Last one for today. These are also 54 mm figures made by Phoenix Model Development in the UK and painted and photographed by ... modesty forbids. This little diorama is from two different PMD lines: Georgian and Regency. What we have here is the ghost of Dad paying a little visit to his balding, paunchy son who is resting with a bit of wine after a hard day's campaigning somewhere on The Continent. Dad is looking pretty chuffed that Junior turned out a bit better than expected. The scan was treated to elephant skin texture and the whole was then given a rectangular vignette to break up that white wall in the background. All lighting is 'available' light in the display case. The blurring seems to be from the treatment of converting the image and from blowing up these things to about 10 times their normal size. Look closely and you'll see a pair of boots lying next to the ottoman and a spaniel just the other side of the chair. Enjoy.

Thanks, Heart'Song. I will be posting a few others. Unfortunately most of the shots I took are very blurry. Too much beer, not enough tripod in some cases. Sigh!
