Catching Up With Myself
I’ve been gone for a while
Gone from my house my home
So have things to do
Errands to run
I have to clean
Up my house my yard
After helping my friends
Clean up their houses
And their yards
Being gone is a good thing
I love the traveling
And I’ll never stop
Going places
It’s just that when
I get home
There’s a lot to do
My house needs attention
I have to get back into
The routine of my own place
My own home my life here
So instead of sitting and
Writing and looking
At fotos and putting
These words down
I should be getting
Other things done
So I will

OOoh, another one! You capture the whole essence of travel so well in this, and as usual, your words echo with wordless truth...if such a thing is possible. I guess it is, since what you capture is such a pronounced feeling that just so happens to fit within well chosen words! I love the image that goes with this. A nice house! As always, fantastic!
