Description
Sometimes while walking I miss simple beauty like this. Only saw it cuz I sat down for a rest. This dry weed almost looks more fragile with a coating of frost.
Thank you much for viewing and any comments you'd like to make.

Sugar coated.....nicely seen....
the 'hidden complexities'......frost is just a white covering to most of us, but here (close up), it's a feathery coat, "sugar coated" (nicely put), soft & downy, and very textured. Really simple, but it makes us want to hike in the branches, and sit for a while. It does look more fragile with frost (I agree), but in a way it looks very proud of its new coat. (The weed actually wears it well. "It's your color," the other weeds are whispering: "You definitely should wear white...")
Doesn't it look like its made out of pipe cleaners? It really is amazing looking. Wonderful find and outstanding shot.
Water is one of the oddest ,wonderful elements we have on this planet and this pic shows why
Beautiful!

it is really lovely ad delicate, exquite and elegant, bravo !
Golleeee, so that's where pipe cleaners come from! Super contrast of the ice-coated weed against the black background, Jodie!
Fantastic shot , lovely and pure ! Ana
I like the contrast, composition and DOF. Indeed a very fragile object well illustrated.
The simple things are often missed and when captured as you have are most enjoyable. Happy B-Day (lets see ... ummm ... that makes you 29?) ;-)
Delicate picture with elegancy and full in detail ! Excellent :)
Magnificent eye, it does resemble frost so much.
