Strong north wind, blowing snow, and all these poor little birds can do is huddle against the cold. I feel sorry for them in this kind of weather.

Your title is so apt, beautiful photo! We had a good Winter here in the North Of England so the birds did OK this year.

Lovely, lovely capture of the poor bird, Maria, evidently in a hunkered down state in order to withstand the rigors of the cold. Of course, it may be a bit late to bring it up, but you could have invited it in for a nice cup of hot tea.
