Description
As I left the city yesterday, I stopped at the view point on the north side. Just took a few fotos, but I liked this one a lot. Gives a somewhat different perspective of a very familiar scene. Of course, I added some postwork, just because!!

In my many trips to The City, I have never been on the Golden Gate. Never been this close to it either. A very creative rendition. :-) unique and creative capture and postwork.
wow never saw this pov of the Golden Gate; wonderful post work too
Nice capture well done, kudos..
Great shot Marilyn. Frank
Have been right there lots of times...always nice to see...
Fantastic work.
you always see the bridge straight on usually ,which makes this shot all the more special. i like this angle and the postwork marilyn .excellent :o) mick
Woah!!! super coolios dear!!! looks fantastic with that bluish green circle!!! awesomeeeeee!!!!! I need to go there sometime, and take many pics lol! and yeah plenty of batteries coz my camera eats them fast hehe!!! love this! have a great day ;-)
As Mick says, we only see the standard shots of the bridge so this is most interesting!
Gorgeous capture of a classic, Marilyn. Looks like there is still on-going retro fitting being done to earthquake proof the structure or annual paint job.
There was some movie that had a scene shot from this side underneath the bridge right over there. NIce to see this one. We don't get many shots from here!!!
I want to be down there, on that track that goes along under the bridge, right down at river level extreme left, and also on the other track that snakes out of view maybe right underneath and out the other side. This is very different from what you normally get of this great bridge, but it has made me greedy for more, because you have shown me there 'IS' more. You cannot stop me dreaming.lol. I love it Marilyn, fantastic pov, I find this much more interesting than the 'full on' shot. Lots to see and take in. Superb. Bravo!!!!!
A very interesting POV ... it doesn't look too secure to me - such flimsy underpinning! Great photograph, enhanced by the postwork. Mike
Fantastic view and excellent POV Charlene... I adore!
Oh my this is so cool warm hug, Linda
Wow, a great POV for an architectural wonder Marilyn. Tony :-)
I left my heart, in San Francisco.... OMG, this is a way different POV of the bridge than I've seen in other fotos of same, Marilyn! Splendid compo and really nice silhouetting in progress here. Interesting use of the light turquoise circle spotlighting the center.
I love what you've done with this! Very creative, and it turned out great!
I love the way you framed this, Awesome shot, Awesome post processing!!
OOoh, I love this shot...the perspective is utterly perfect and I love the fact that you've taken an iconic landmark and shown something that few people even imagine exists. Fantastic work and a fun touch of postwork as well. Creatively seen and presented, as usual!
Very cool pic! I love the thought of all those pathways leading off to different places. It looks as though you're about to drive under the rainbow! What's down that way?
It's been a very long time since I've been over the bridge.....I really like what you did with this picture.
