Description
Another last Saturday shot. I covered a lot of ground that day, was tired of cooped up with inclement weather.
This was on a frozen lake, which I was not tempted to walk on, although quite a few had done so. I guess if snowmobiles could go across it, the ice was thick enough. My brain could see the logic of that, but try and convince my feet...

Great photo!
I with you. Ice is not my thin. anyway nothing big freeze where i at. This is something to look at
It is hard to argue with your feet (and brain) isn't it? It's a lovely view, though. Glad you got to get out!
Great POV
Super and informative shot!
Oh my friend, it's absolutely gorgeous... I adore the tracks!
I thought by the thumb it was an abstract, he he. Really wonderful ;O)
Fantastic shot!!
Nice picture!! The trick of going across the ice is that you have to keep moving if you are not sure if it is thick enough. At the beginning of each winter season, one of us kids broke through the ice when we dared each other. The ones that broke through were the slow ones!!!!
Wonderful capture, recently watched a TV series about Truckers in the U.S.A. crossing the frozen lakes and have to follow strict laws on how to cross them.
