Description
Do you remember sugar easter eggs? They were like some bizarre Faberge' thing with a hole in them so you could see inside. There were scenes in there, usually chickies or bunnies or something.
Oh my - I looked them up, and have pictures you can look at if you don't know what I'm talking about! See photos here
Every time I look at this photograph I think of those darned eggs. It's like if you could just look a little closer, you would see that the stamens in this flower are really little people or something, done in royal icing.
Or maybe I just need more sleep!

I have to agree with you. They still look like that. Excellent capture and memories. Bunny
I'm fascinated with the lighting used here and how you subdued the edges to highlight the center of focus.
Sugar eggs is it now? My goodness, young lady, what a vivid imagination you have. So where is Rorschach now that we need him? At the risk of repeating myself, superlative color blends, clarity, lighting and textural effects in this wonderful macro, Tara!
