Description
Now that we've looked up into the tree, lets look inside the tree. Okay, so I don't know if any elves live here but apparently a spider does. Luckily, the spider was busy or away when I was taking this shot, because if he came out... yikes... one of us may be dead? Me from heart failure or him ... aw, I gotta be truthful I woulda run. LOL.
Thanks for looking! My previous upload, "Where The Squirrels Play...." .

It's an interesting shot, I'm sure the spider just didn't want to scare you :)
wonderful shot. guess the elves ran too as the spider came to make it home here
love the textures and excellent capture
NICE..........
The hole looks rather deep. Not exactly a rabbit warren. Actually, trolls are noted for living in tree hollows like this. I'm surprised Jocko500 didn't pick up on that. And unless the spider is venomous, it's a lot more likely to be scared of you then you are of it. Anyway, excellent clarity and textures in this propitious find, Melinda.
What a beautiful shot. The web is very pleasingly done (tell the spider I said so!) Great capture
Ahhhhh Spiders!!! one of my less favorite critters in nature lol!! very good capture! have an awesome week darling ;-)
Fantastic shot,
Intersting. Love the web, but I also LOVE spiders!
interesting photo, great macro, perfect details!
Superb work here. As a science fiction writer, I see this as many intriguing and odd things, as well as the hollow of a tree with the remains of a spider's web inside. There are so many ways to interpret this, so many ways to craft stories around the image itself, which is superb, and the impressions it gives. Fantastic work! I love this!
very interesting~

Fantastic textures and colors... a great capture my friend!
Stellar hole!
great shot...
