Description
We climbed above the low fog to be greeted by dazzling sunshine, this shot taken with the sun behind.
This Hamlet was a thriving place in the 1800's with a Manor House, Chapel and three farms with farmworkers houses.
We had just passed some major restoration in progress, much of the Hamlet had been abandoned since the 1970's.

I hope this is going to become a drawing or painting,Alan!
WOW Alan wonderful and interesting thanks for sharing awesome capture sweet weekend to you warm hug, Lin
What a charming place! The path, so worn and somewhat sunken, looks like it has been traveled many times over the years! Lovely shot!
Fantastic image Alan, great pov, I love those drystone walls, great examples both. This would look good on Flickr they have a spot for drystone walling. The farther of the two houses looks like it was converted from a barn going of the arch over the window, the one on the left looks like it is below the ground looking at the lintle over the doorway. A very interesting shot full of detail, I would love to visit this place myself. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!
What a fantastic place and it must have been just magic coming out of the fog...I would love to see it in person but this wonderful capture took me there this morning.
