An excellent abstract.
You don't know how much I love this. I have tryed so many times to get a good shot of these blue ropes on the ferry lol. I just never thought of B&W. It really brings out the texture.
makes a wonderful pattern here. very good in B/W
Might have looked better with more local rather than global contrast - there is some amazing texture there, it just washes out in the highlights and goes to black in the shadows. But that is my preference, this works too :)
the textures are so detailed and the choice of tone brings this image out even more .this is a superb capture tara and is going in my favs :o) mick
Ahoy, matey! Cool contrast, clarity, lighting and textural effects depicted in this fine black & white composition, my friend!
B&W makes this shot perfect! nice nautical rope, it's huge!!!

This is a really good one ! Not easy to do.
Beautifully twisted. Lovely shot.
Very nice close up of the rope.
excellent ! love it in B&W
Excellent shot, I really feel the higher contrast adds so much to the depth and texture, while the lines catch the eye and hold your attention - Perfection!!
This is superb, Tara...I love the stark beauty of it. It's so simple, so elegant, so much of something that lesser photographers might ignore. I love the choice of black and white for this, and the details that are so sharply defined here. Great work and most definitely a favorite of mine!
sensational image!
Cool picture.
What a great detailed capture :-)
