Description
Modeled loosely on a 1937 Leyland Titan Double-decker bus. Built entirely in trueSpace 7.5 and rendered with the LightWorks renderer.
Some textures made with MapZone
Everything else was made using either trueSpace itself or The GIMP.
Some post work; used the GIMP to combine a ground fog render and a colour render with volumetric's.
Although clearly very similar to a London bus this is not intended as an historical reproduction.
Hope you enjoy it - and if you're interested there's another picture featuring this model, rendered in Vue - see my gallery for this.
As usual, all comments welcomed
Thanks WZRD

Fantastic work,
A dang cool bus! Excellent image!
love the night work with the bus. :)
this si beautiful Stephen, you've captured the feel of early morning perfectly, I can even feel the cool humidity in the air. Perfect level of day rising on the horizon, and of course, the lights in the scene are beautifully done. i love it when I can "feel" what I see, as if I am drawn into the image itself. Excellent work!
can't believe it is the first bus !!! there will be many people waiting for hours
Excellent work!
This just rules, Mate. Nice artwork, photorealistic texturing, color and perspective. Wonderful render. 5 stars.
Great job, Mate! Makes me nostalgic for those old buses. You really excel at mood, details, subject, shading, rendering....very accomplished. Cal
Very beautiful and very nicr work of art.
I really do like this! Most people associate them with London buses, but I remember the 'Midland Red' from my childhood ;-)
London bus is splendid! ! ! ! !
